Use Spectra Geospatial® Installation Manager (SGIM) to install and update supported Spectra Geospatial software and firmware

Origin Field Software

• Run SGIM directly on a data collector to install or update Origin
• For more information on how to install Origin using SGIM, please refer to Origin Installation

FOCUS 50 Total Station

Run SGIM on a Windows® data collector or office computer while connected to the FOCUS 50 total station to:

• Update the total station firmware
• Download instrument certificates

Note: FOCUS 50 firmware updates are only available through the Windows version of SGIM. Android controllers such as the Ranger 5 data collector cannot be used to update the FOCUS 50 firmware at this time.
