Spectra Precision Introduces the SP20 Handheld GNSS Receiver with Innovative Camera-Enabled Centimeter Logging

SAN DIEGO, July 9, 2018—Spectra Precision introduced today its new Spectra Precision® SP20 handheld GNSS receiver. The announcement was made at the Esri User Conference.
The SP20 provides state-of-the-art, high performance GNSS capabilities in a handheld form factor. Rugged, lightweight and scalable, the SP20 offers an easy to-use solution, delivering the accuracy needed (meter to centimeter). With applications ranging from data collection to inspection and maintenance, the SP20 is truly a time saving tool for cadastral, construction or topo surveys as well as GIS projects.
An innovative camera-enabled workflow provides 2D handheld centimeter accuracy or 3D centimeter accuracy when used with a monopole setup. Using the 5.3” display screen, it is easy to efficiently collect both GIS and survey data. Depending on the projects, the SP20 can run the MobileMapper Field software for easy GIS data collection or Spectra Precision Survey Mobile (SPSM) for full-featured land survey jobs.
