Worcester, UK (January 2021) — The Survey School has received three Spectra Geospatial SP85 GNSS receivers with Ranger 7 data collectors from SEP Geospatial. Operated by The Survey Association (TSA), the UK trade body for commercial survey companies, The Survey School provides training to the whole survey and construction industry.
The SP85 GNSS receivers and Ranger 7 data collectors will be used in the school’s flagship TSA surveying course and its GNSS and 5-Day Surveying Short Course.
Manager of the Survey School, Alan Mansell, FCInstCES, said, “We believe that the best training can only be delivered using the best equipment and technology available. Having seen the Spectra Geospatial equipment demonstrated, it became apparent that choosing the SP85 and Ranger 7 would not be a difficult decision to make. I cannot thank SEP and Spectra Geospatial enough for their generous support and commitment to the surveyors who train at our school and for the profession as a whole. The future of geospatial surveying lies with the partnerships among all involved, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, educators and students alike. We at TSA and The Survey School hope that this is the start of a relationship that will encourage a new generation of surveyors.”
